The Final Four is set, and UNL is a dirty old French whore

...Unfortunately. My brackets for this March Madness are the worst I have ever had. My championship game was set to be Wake vs. Duke, and of course that is not going to happen. I can't stand any of the teams left, so I am in a pickle...do I cheer for the ACC team, who is Duke's biggest rival? Or do I cheer for Illinois, a team severely overrated? I mean, come on, of course they did well, the Big 10 was weak this year. I could cheer for Louisville, the team coached by Rick Pitino, who knocked my Gophers out in the Final Four back in '97 when he coached at Kentucky, or I could cheer for Michigan State, the team who knocked my Blue Devils out this year. Illinois may be the lesser of four evils, but can you really forgive such a ridiculously overhyped team? I think not. I'm rooting for Louisville.

I got accepted to student teach next fall. Only one more semester and I can stop giving money to this damn place. I really loath UNL, and sometimes wish I had just applied to Duke in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends and all, and Lincoln itself, well, we all know Lincoln is way better than Omaha, because look at the type of people who actually come from Omaha. They're just not good people. I just don't like giving money to the school, that's all, because as far as my education goes, most of what I have learned in my methods classes are common sense. People do not need to go to college to be good teachers, either you have IT or you don't, and I have IT. But alas, every school system in the country requires that pesky little piece of paper, so I don't have much choice. Not only that, but some of the school policies are really lame, specifically the ones pertaining to alcohol, candles, and cohabitation. I don't know why they bother having policies against things they really have no control over, it is ridiculous. I can not wait to get out of here.
